Carbon steel shields are precision-stamped components designed to fit specific bearing models and housings. As such, they are not intended to be manually cut or drilled after production. Any required dimensions, oil holes, or venting slots should be defined during the design and tooling phase.
For custom features, follow this process:
Define Requirements: Confirm if oil holes, special cutouts, or ventilation slots are needed.
Submit Drawings: Provide technical drawings or samples with exact specifications.
Tooling Adjustment: Our engineering team will adjust stamping dies or develop new tooling based on your request.
Trial Production: Samples are produced for dimensional and functional verification.
Mass Production: After approval, shields are manufactured in bulk with consistent quality and tolerances.
Manual alteration (e.g., cutting or drilling) is discouraged, as it may affect shield integrity, fitment accuracy, and surface treatment performance.
