Notes for Material Fit
Tinplate / Galvanized / Electro-Galvanized already have metallic coatings; usually pair with oil or E-coat rather than re-plating.
CR Steel is the best candidate for Electro-Zinc / Phosphate / Zinc-Nickel.
Stainless typically uses Passivation; additional coatings are rarely necessary unless for cosmetic matching.
